Where Did Recorded Fiction Begin
Source: Wright State University
The origins of Recorded Fiction began in the basement of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio when four college friends had the same idea.
We started this media group back in 2019 with a specific goal in mind: to create new worlds and tell the tales we wanted to read. Now, as full-fledged creative bloggers, we’re here to bring you compelling stories and to support our fellow authors with helpful tips we wish we had learned starting out.
The Passionate Team Behind Your Favorite Stories
Our team is made up of storytellers, gamers, and creatives who live and breathe the worlds we write about. From crafting immersive plots to designing characters that linger in your imagination, we put our passion into every tale. Whether it’s a high-stakes adventure, a quiet moment of reflection, or a twist that leaves you breathless, we’re here to bring stories to life that you won’t want to put down.

What People Say
Meet The Authors
“I’m a big fan of the tragic hero trope. It’s the struggle that I love to see. All the frustration and pain that goes through the characters, and how that affects the plot and those around them. Those are the types of characters I enjoy showcasing in my work. The ones who earn the reader’s respect.”
“I’m drawn to stories where the broken protagonist claws their way out, not because someone saved them, but because they finally chose to save themselves. No one came. They came anyway”
